The project started mobile focused, but through interviews and testing, users made clear they preferred most CRM tasks in context of a desktop experience. Mobile was then focused on in field work: note taking, light contact management, emails and calling, etc.
Tempo CRM
Sales and Marketing can march to the same beat. A mobile first CRM for Mailchimp.

About the Project
This project was a year long green field project exploring how a mobile first CRM could integrate with Mailchimp. This work took place during the initial phases of ideation and design for what is now called Creative Assistant and Content Studio. At Digital Scientists we worked on various design and development projects to support and explore capabilities and limits of what could fit into these new exciting features.

Drag and Drop Planner
Specific to desktop, we created a custom planner and calendar. A unique element to it was a drag and drop function for managing the time and date of tasks.

Home on mobile focused on day to day tasks and communication. On desktop, we expanded to include a view of the pipeline and overviews of marketing activity synced from Mailchimp, sales goals, and lead activity.

The deals pipeline could be managed on both desktop and mobile.

Leads could be managed from both desktop and mobile. On desktop, an activity timeline and expanded view were available. The idea is the mobile is for in the field notes and updates, the desktop is for the heavy lifting.
